Kayakers may choose to stop at a soon-to-be announced special lunch stop before the Lock & Dam. Note: the Lock is on the East (downstream left) side of the river.

This is a great chance to see the historic Muskingum Lock and Dam System, the only remaining hand-operated lock system in the country!
